Over the last several days I did a few things, including spending a good amount of time recording videos of the cell and jig assembly process. While I was trying to rotate these cell phone videos from portrait to landscape, I accidentally overwrote all of the files 🤦. Now, I need to redo the whole thing…
Also broke a compression plate, so trying to reprint them, which then lead to troubleshooting the hackerspace’s sometimes-dodgy 3D printers. I feel I have been spending a lot of time and energy fighting with my tools lately 😬. Thankfully I’ve met someone here who is willing to print test parts for me on their (well-maintained, and faster) personal 3D printer, so I can focus on R&D!

Been taking a lot of L’s in life and in lab lately, trying to get some momentum back since there’s some really cool stuff in the pipeline!
This is all in an attempt to get the docs ready for a v1 release of the dev kit, so that I can focus more on the large-format cell.
Sanli gave a talk on FAIR Battery at OSHWA in Edinburgh today though, so hopefully some more people will find out about our projects!
